Collection Information

This series of Marisol Vengas differs from the previous ones because it finally captures the intent and vision of the original project’s mission. What began as a social algorithm has now evolved into a real algorithm: a generative, process driven creation powered by a hive mind.

The works were produced collaboratively, with many people contributing across different steps. The result is a blend of high output and high quality art that was inexpensive to produce, fun to make, and inspiring for participants. This communal process echoes the early spirit of Curio Cards, sometimes considered the first generative artwork on the blockchain (a point of controversy of course). Like those works, this series drew many community members into crypto for the first time.

The series was originally planned for the Sui blockchain, but complications led back to Ethereum, in honor of the OGs. Added support came from fiddl.art, who assisted with batch processing of the images.
