Blue 27 holds a special place in Ethereum history as part of Curio Cards, the first art project launched on the blockchain in May 2017. Blue 27 is tied to a tangible original artwork created through a social generative process. Groups of participants helped crop and assemble images, color geometric forms, and experiment with layered compositions before Max Infeld curated, refined, and assembled the final work. The piece was printed with a black toner laser printer on neon cardstock, layered with transparencies, and mounted on foam core with metallic edging. This collaborative method turned non artists into creators and helped define an early moment in generative art on chain.

Any consecutive final price of any sale must pay the artist 10 percent. This obligation applies to all future buyers and cannot be removed.
