This is a composite image featuring two distinct photos merged together. On the left side of the image there's a photograph of a cathedral with its tall pointed spires piercing through an overcast sky. The architecture displays traditional Gothic style characterized by intricate designs and flying buttresses supporting the structure.
On the right side another photograph depicts a cityscape during dusk or dawn with an illuminated building standing prominently against the twilight sky. This structure appears to be a modern high-rise adorned with various colors of light that are not natural and suggest artificial lighting. A large purple hue dominates the foreground of this image creating a striking contrast with the blue of the sky and the warm tones of the building.
Overlaid on top of the left photo is a semi-transparent white line that runs diagonally from one side of the cathedral to the other dividing the two images in the process. This line gives the impression that the two scenes are overlapping or merged together. The overall style of the image is surreal and imaginative due to the merging of unrelated subjects in a single frame.
